1 Eligibility

Families identified as eligible under SECC 2011 deprivation/occupational criteria.
Coverage has also been extended to senior citizens aged 70+ under a separate central scheme — eligibility is best confirmed on the portal, as criteria and state-specific extensions vary.

Check eligibility on the "Am I Eligible" tool on pmjay.gov.in or the PM-JAY App.

If eligible, complete e-KYC to generate your Ayushman card.

Download the digital Ayushman card once approved.

Visit a nearby Common Service Centre (CSC) or empanelled hospital's Ayushman Mitra desk for assistance.

Card generation after e-KYC is usually quick, often within a day.
